May 13–17, 2026 is the 54th running of the Nürburgring 24 Hours, GT3 debut with Koopman Racing at the Green Hell.
THE ROAD TO MAY 13
The 24 Hours of Nürburgring isn’t a race you show up to. It’s a race you prepare for across an entire season of laps, simulator hours, physical training, and mental conditioning. Every decision between now and May 2026 is calibrated around one objective: crossing the finish line on Sunday afternoon with the car intact and the result earned.
Preparation runs across four fronts. Track time on the Nordschleife to keep the 25 kilometers of corners fresh. Simulator work on iRacing to test strategies and build lap consistency. Physical training with hot yoga, breathwork, and endurance conditioning to survive night stints in a GT3 cockpit. And mental coaching with MMW Germany to stay sharp across 24 consecutive hours of racing.

The Circuit
25.378 kilometers of Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit combined. Over 170 corners per lap through the forests of the Eifel mountains.
The Class
GT3, the top category. Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, and Lamborghini factory teams competing wheel to wheel for overall victory.
The Team
Koopman Racing, fielding an BMW Z4 GT3 with Juan Carlos joining the driver lineup of Volker Strycek , Peter Posaban and Michel Funkefor the full 24 hours.
