Why coach with me
I started karting at 27 — late, by every conventional measure. Within a year I was a novice champion at Kartódromo Sierra Esmeralda. Within four years I’d won the Nissan GT Academy for Mexico at Silverstone.
Within ten years I was racing GT3 at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. I know exactly what it takes to start a motorsport career in Mexico — because I did it myself, without family backing, factory support, or a head start.
I’ve coached at every level of the Mexican karting scene, including running my own private academy where I trained Ernesto Rivera — now a member of the Red Bull Junior Team with a real shot at Formula 1. I helped develop the ROK Cup Mexico championship in 2017, bringing in major brand support to grow the sport. And I’ve spent more than a decade as an international race instructor at the Nürburgring and Spa-Francorchamps.

A full day of coaching at any karting facility or circuit event in Mexico. Track walk, baseline runs, sector-by-sector work, video debrief, and progression sessions. The complete coaching arc, scaled to your level and goals.

What to expect on track
A coaching session with me isn’t just about lap times. Every session is built around three things:
- Reading the kart, reading the track. Karting is the purest form of motorsport feedback. Every input shows up in lap time. I’ll teach you to read what the kart is telling you, and how to translate that into faster, more consistent laps.
- Building real fundamentals. Most karting coaching focuses on the racing line. That’s a starting point, not a finish line. We work on weight transfer, throttle modulation, braking technique, and the racecraft that separates winners from fast drivers.
- Long-term progression. Whether you’re a junior driver building toward a European career or an adult chasing a regional championship, I build coaching plans that compound over weeks and months, not just one-off sessions.
